Cover Letter

This is an example of a cover letter I wrote for a Veterinary Clinic Assistant position. I did not actually apply for this job; I constructed this cover letter for an English 202C project. However, I would utilize a similar cover letter when applying to companies in the future because it demonstrates some of my most significant experiences and accomplishments.

Corneal Ulcers in Dogs

This is an article I wrote for my AnSc 315 class. The assignment was to write a brief overview of a disease in dogs. My dog actually had a corneal ulcer several years ago, so my personal experience with this issue helped me gain a better understanding of the condition. This document is relevant because it exhibits my knowledge of animal diseases and veterinary medicine.

How Vaccines Work

This was an assignment for my English 202C course in which described how something related to our field functions. I chose to write about vaccines because veterinarians give puppies and kittens vaccines on a daily basis. This assignment exhibits my interest in science and also demonstrates that I am capable of describing scientific processes to people (such as pet owners) who lack a background in the science field.
